Entrepreneurship is a dynamic field where both passion and specialized skills come together. CSUSB’s undergraduate program offers you the practical knowledge, real-world experience, and the advanced business skills essential to be a successful entrepreneur within any environment. The program will enhance your academic experience by utilizing an integrated, hands-on learning approach that will prepare you for your future in business. During the program, you will collaborate with students from other disciplines and network with entrepreneurs; mentors; and alumni from within the community. You’ll not only learn what it takes to be an entrepreneur, but also develop the entrepreneurial mindset through experience and challenging coursework.

Master's

In the MBA Entrepreneurship program, our approach to facilitate learning is to build up your already existing foundation, by immersing you directly in the entrepreneurial process. As part of the entrepreneurial program, you will be required to start and run a business; face the risk and rewards of entrepreneurship in real time, instead of through case studies or class lectures. Interact with entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and business leaders from within the community to learn from their successes and failures. Our faculty will engage you in hands-on learning exercises and expect you to apply your skills in interactive sessions to get the most from your MBA in Entrepreneurship.

Open University

Interested in taking an entrepreneurship class without the degree? Most courses listed in the university catalog are open to non-matriculated students (non-degree) through the College of Extended Learning’s program called "Open University." Members of the community may enroll in select entrepreneurship courses on a space-available basis. Learn concepts such as opportunity recognition, new venture strategy, creative problem solving, entrepreneurial leadership, and possess the skills to launch a new business or contribute to business development in existing organizations.

Students who desire to enroll in Open University classes require an application from the College of Extended Learning and approval of the instructor. Catalyst Accelerator

The CSUSB entrepreneurship center has created unique program to accelerate and fund entrepreneurial ideas developed by students and faculty. The Catalyst Business Accelerator provides office space, resources and assistance from experienced entrepreneurs to support the launch of promising new ventures that will help contribute to the local Inland Southern California economy.
